Ordinary People

Pictures were taken a few days before dad's birthday celeb, which was in.. March.

It was during the Term 1 School Hol, so decided to bring brother to the SPCA!

And my personal favourite..

Guess his name!

Yup, Tipsy alright.. Haha.

And for our 35th last month, he gave me pretty flowers :)

Any-whoos, I can't believe I've been living my life in this line for close to 5 months now. Teaching is no joke. Everyday seems like a race, I'm always on the run and chasing for time. But with lovely people around me, just doesn't permit me to give up. That's something I've been repeating to myself every single day, before I go to sleep and when I wake up to a new (and hopefully better) day. Cause at the end of every damn day, no matter how sucky it has been, you know that you've won another challenge.

On another note, I've been watching the grand finale of this season's American Idol for like the umpteen times on TV, like as if there are no other shows to watch. But seriously, it was just magnificent. With the awesome performances (especially Black Eyed Peas & Jason Mraz of course) and the surprise acts by the award winners, and Kara! I love it. What would be lovelier is if Black Eyed Peas have second (?) concert here in Singapore. I'll be going fo' sho!

Don't stop the music

super overdue pictures of dad's 55th Birthday

this year, we gave dad the luxury to choose his own gift. well, of course we had to zoom to something specific, so we brought him to a watch shop.

without fail, my grandaunt would cook bubur birthday, as I called it, cause I've no idea what it is. And because of my obliviousness with food ("tahu makan je, masak tahu tak?"), they laughed at me (which created curiousity among the waiters), leaving me with no choice but to give the 'ape sei' look to everyone. anyway, we received free 'birthday' cakes sponsored by Delifrance. :)

now comes to my favourite people. AWWW. hahaha.

wow. finally.
