Bed of Lies

Don't wanna be the one who turns the whole thing over
Don't wanna be somewhere where I just don't belong
Where it's not enough just be sorry

F1 fever is here in Singapore. It's just 2 days away! Has it hit you yet?

The above pictures were taken when we were out with my 2 dearies (Kyn & Syah) and Rezal last week! The 5 of us were the B.G.H (Burung Gagak Hitam) gang for the evening. Go figure.

Break fast with dearies - checked!
Raya shopping + break fast with Siti - checked!

Oh btw, Siti and I left Paragon in the midst of our shopping spree on Wed, only to know that Kimi Raikkonen (3rd picture) was at the Tag Heuer event @ Level 1, after reading the news yesterday! What a waste. Note to self: don't be oblivious. Well actually, it's not like I can tell it's him even if he were to walk pass me BUT.. it's the how can I missed it feeling you know? AND, the racers were also brought to Sims Avenue to try out durians! Once again, how can I missed it, it's near my place!! Oh well, guess I still have my very own Mr Hamilton (read: Qamarul). HAHAHA. No dear, there's no brotherhood (you and Kimi). Lewis Hamilton, I can understand. Born on the same year also OK :P!

Happy 20th Birthday Ong Huiting! Have a great one!

Misery Business

Kanye West's Glow in the Dark tour is definitely one of the live performances that I would love to catch. Too bad that I didn't get to catch Jason Mraz when he came to Singapore. He's like one of the bombs, who could actually sings live very well (if not, better than the album).

I still remember when I saw one of Kanye's performances on MTV years back, it was an instrumental one. God, I swear his showmanship got my eyes glued to the screen. Oh, and his recent closing perfomance at this year's VMA? It really got me pumped up. I called Qamarul later that night to ask him if he watched it, to convince him how good Kanye is on stage. "What?!? You didn't watch?!? Babe! Then you HAVE to catch him live in Singapore!" A multi Grammy awards artist, ooh I can't wait :)

And one of the things that makes it all more worth it, is that I didn't come out with a single cent for it! Thanks babe, you're the best. It's not even a month to my 21st birthday, and I've already received one of my gifts. If I have to, I will thank you everyday.. :)

On another happy note, I managed to qatam Quran after my evening prayer yesterday. My first in almost 21 years. I knew I had to when I heard my mum saying that it's a very good thing to qatam on a fasting month. So yea, I did it, in front of my mum. After all the rebellious days of being forced to attend religious classes every Sunday and to quit ngaji (for whatever reasons) during my primary and secondary school years, I've partly achieved what I ought to do. And no, I'm not going to stop. My mum gave me a newly bought Quran yesterday and I'm going to start all over again cause I know that my first wasn't a perfect one.

Today, instead of facing monday blues, I'm actually having a red day (if you know what I mean). I think it's a perfect timing, although it came 10 days late.

Everything else aside, I can't wait to watch Madagascar 2!! I like to move it move it, you like to move it move it. She likes to move it move it, we like to.. move it!

through the pain

This will be some overdue entry. Bear with it.

As you guys already know.. I'm a big fan of fireworks. So this year, on 23rd August, it was no different. Actually, I didn't want to go due to the fact that it would be a waste of time waiting when we can do so many other things together and also to avoid the crowd. But the boyfriend insisted knowing that his love here, LOVE fireworks. So we made our way to One Fullerton at about 8pm after a very aimless (but worthwhile) walk. We were expecting a huge crowd but to our delight, it wasn't that bad actually. Perhaps it was the rain/drizzle that night.

We decided to settle down near Starbucks but the available seats were all wet. Then, a very nice chinese lady offered us her already wet rag (at least something right?) to wipe our wet seats! We couldn't be thankful enough. And so we people-watched while waiting for this...

Baby, I love watching fireworks with you! Cause at the end of it, you were there to massage my neck (: I actually don't have to zoom my cam at all! So apparently, I had to tilt my head all the way upwards. But I fancy it anyway, no less. And if things go well, I can't wait for new year's!

Lastly, to my friends and loved ones.
Can only fireworks make sparkles? Cause thinking bout you sparkles me up too! :D
