Misery Business

Kanye West's Glow in the Dark tour is definitely one of the live performances that I would love to catch. Too bad that I didn't get to catch Jason Mraz when he came to Singapore. He's like one of the bombs, who could actually sings live very well (if not, better than the album).

I still remember when I saw one of Kanye's performances on MTV years back, it was an instrumental one. God, I swear his showmanship got my eyes glued to the screen. Oh, and his recent closing perfomance at this year's VMA? It really got me pumped up. I called Qamarul later that night to ask him if he watched it, to convince him how good Kanye is on stage. "What?!? You didn't watch?!? Babe! Then you HAVE to catch him live in Singapore!" A multi Grammy awards artist, ooh I can't wait :)

And one of the things that makes it all more worth it, is that I didn't come out with a single cent for it! Thanks babe, you're the best. It's not even a month to my 21st birthday, and I've already received one of my gifts. If I have to, I will thank you everyday.. :)

On another happy note, I managed to qatam Quran after my evening prayer yesterday. My first in almost 21 years. I knew I had to when I heard my mum saying that it's a very good thing to qatam on a fasting month. So yea, I did it, in front of my mum. After all the rebellious days of being forced to attend religious classes every Sunday and to quit ngaji (for whatever reasons) during my primary and secondary school years, I've partly achieved what I ought to do. And no, I'm not going to stop. My mum gave me a newly bought Quran yesterday and I'm going to start all over again cause I know that my first wasn't a perfect one.

Today, instead of facing monday blues, I'm actually having a red day (if you know what I mean). I think it's a perfect timing, although it came 10 days late.

Everything else aside, I can't wait to watch Madagascar 2!! I like to move it move it, you like to move it move it. She likes to move it move it, we like to.. move it!
